Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what data Evolution Force ("the App", "we") collects, how we use it, and what rights you have over it. By creating an account and using the App, you agree to the practices described here.

This document is not certified legal text — it's an accurate starting point based on what the App actually does today; we recommend having a lawyer review it before publishing, especially given the health data involved.

1. Who we are

Evolution Force is developed by Javier Collao. For any privacy questions, reach us at javiercollao8@gmail.com. Emails we send you about your account may come from evolutionforceapp@gmail.com.

2. What data we collect

When you register and use the App, we collect:

• Account data: username, email address, password (stored encrypted, never in plain text).
• Physical and health data: weight, height, age, gender, body fat percentage, body type.
• Training and nutrition preferences: training goal, experience level, available training days/duration, available equipment, exercises you'd rather avoid, nutrition goal, diet type, dietary restrictions, meals per day.
• Workout history: exercises performed, sets, reps, weight lifted, reps in reserve (RIR), session duration.
• Progress records: body weight trend and personal records, automatically derived from your workout history.
• App usage and errors: anonymous usage events (for example, which screens are visited) and error reports, to improve the App.
• Advertising measurement (only if you allow it): an advertising identifier from your device and events such as installing the App, creating your account, starting a free trial, and subscribing. This data is sent to Meta (Facebook and Instagram) to measure whether an ad brought you to the App. It does not include your health data, workouts, or weight.
• Photos you choose to share: if you use the share feature with your own photo, the App only reads the photo you select. The photo is not uploaded to our servers.

We do not collect location data or contacts, and we do not access other apps on your device. The App only accesses your photo library when you choose a photo to share.

3. How we use your data

We use your data exclusively to:

• Create and maintain your account.
• Calculate your training and nutrition targets (calories, macronutrients, weight-progression suggestions).
• Automatically detect your personal records and show your progress.
• Adjust your training sessions based on how you're feeling that day (daily check-in) and substitute exercises based on available equipment or your preferences.
• Improve the App and fix bugs.
• Contacting you by email if you started signing up and did not finish, to offer you help with your account.
• Measure whether our ads on Meta (Facebook and Instagram) work, using the advertising identifier and events described in section 2.

We do not show third-party advertising inside the App, we do not sell your data, and we do not share it with third parties for commercial purposes. Advertising measurement data is shared only with Meta, for the purpose described above.

Your control over advertising measurement: on iPhone, the App asks for your permission before using the advertising identifier (you can choose "Don't Allow" and the App works the same). On Android you can delete or turn off the advertising identifier in your device settings, and on both systems you can change your decision at any time from your phone's privacy settings.

4. Where your data is stored

Your data is stored in MongoDB Atlas (AWS infrastructure), and the App's server runs on Render. We take reasonable measures to protect this information from unauthorized access, including password encryption.

5. How long we keep your data

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we delete your personal data within a reasonable timeframe, unless the law requires us to retain it longer.

6. Your rights

You have the right to:

• Access the data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate data (most of it can be edited directly from your profile in the App).
• Delete your account and data directly from the App (Profile → Delete Account) or by writing to javiercollao8@gmail.com.
• Export your data upon request.

7. An important note about health data

Evolution Force calculates calorie, macronutrient, and training estimates from the data you enter. These estimates do not constitute medical or professional nutrition advice. Talk to a healthcare professional before making significant changes to your diet or training, especially if you have a pre-existing medical condition.

8. Children

Evolution Force is not directed at children under 16. If you become aware that a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll notify you within the App or by email.
